Golconda Fort

At a distance of 13 kms from Hyderabad is a magnificent structure that reflects the genius of its builders with walled enclosures and places on the hillock. The fort is well known for its acoustics and its ingenious water supply. The saga of Golconda is uniquely depicted every evening at 6.30 pm & 7.30 pm through sound & light show that takes us through golden days of Golconda with voice by   Mr. Amitabh Bachan.

Salarjung Museum

This museum houses one of the biggest one-man collections of antiques of the world by Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. The objects d'art include Persian carpets, Mughal miniatures, Chinese porcelain, Japanese lacquerware, a superb collection of jade, daggers belonging to Queen Noor Jahan and the Emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan & Aurangzeb's sword.

Chowmohalla Palace

The magnificent Chowmahalla Palace was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty where the Nizams entertained their official guests and royals visitors. Built over 200 years age, Chowmahalla Palace is renowned for its unique style and elegance. A synthesis of many architectural styles and influences, the Palace Complex has been meticulously restored.


Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah, the founder of Hyderabad, built Charminar in 1591 at the center of the original city layout. Four graceful minarets soar to a height of 48.7m. above the ground. Charminar has 45 prayer spaces and a mosque in it. Visitors can view the architectural splendour inside the Charminar. The monument is illuminated in the evenings with dynamic lighting.

Taramati Baradari

The 17th century monument built for the court musician revived to its own old glory. A cultural complex created around the illuminated monument is a new tourist attraction. The facilities here include Hotel, Restaurant, Bar, Conference Hall, Swimming Pool apart from the Open Air Theatre and an Indoor Auditorium. Cell : 9848827102

Qutub Shahi Tombs

The Tombs of the legendary Qutub Shahi kings lie about a kilometre away from Banjara Darwaza of the Golconda Fort. Planned and built by Qutub Shahis themselves, these tombs form a large group and stand on a raised platform. The tombs are built in Persian, Pathan and the Hindu architectural system using grey granite with stucco ornamentation. This oldest historical monument is one of its kind in the world where an entire dynasty has been buried at one place.

Nehru Zoological Park

Spanning 300 lush green acres, the Nehru Zoological Park is a must for nature lovers. It has over 250 species of animals and birds, most of which are kept in conditions as close to their natural habitats as possible. This is the first zoo to create moated enclousers for animals. The Lion Safari Park, Natural History Museum and Children's Train are the added attractions.

Lumbini Park

The beautiful park is situated on the shore of Hussainsagar lake. The landscaping here is a visual treat. A musically synchronized water fountain and a floral clock are major attractions here. Public Gardens

In the busy area adjacent to the Hyderabad (Nampally) Railway Station are the Public Gardens where the Jubilee Hall, State Archaeological Museum and the Jawahar Bal Bhavan are located.

Birla Mandir

is a Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot. The construction took 10 years and was consecrated in 1976 by Swami Ranganathanada of Ramakrishna Mission
